GLOCAL THEOLOGICAL ACADEMY (GLOTA)
Overview of the programme
The Glocal Compassion gGmbH as part of its project of offering ministerial training and thus equipping others for compassionate ministry embarks on theological training programme that operates from Continental Europe, Germany. To achieve this aim, Glocal Compassion collaborates with like-minded Christian institutions and organisations to embark on context-relevant theological training for ministers and especially church leaders in Europe and other parts of the world.
Glocal Theological Academy (GLOTA) would thus be the kind of programme that many have envisioned for basic and advanced theological training (diploma) programme.
The GLOTA course is thus designed for all who feel called into Church and Christian related ministry and all who want to develop sound biblical and context-sensitive theological training. The programme aims at giving the student exposure to sound principles in theological studies, practical skills and other related disciplines required for Christian ministry.
Intended Outcome
The graduates of the GLOTA training course would be equipped to lead their churches and to fully cooperate with their respective established churches and denominational boards and administrative structures. It partly aims at helping the migrant churches not to lose many of its churches and leaders in the future. For ecumenical purposes, it will help participants to effectively cooperate with the established churches in Germany and other parts of Europe.
Who is this course for?
The GLOTA programme is ideal for all who seek biblically sound ministerial training. It is suitable for all who are English-speaking Christians, both church leaders and members who desire a more practical and theologically relevant academic approach.
